Betelgeuse

I remember you.
Riding high on the mama's shoulder
your giant redness above.
I wave at you
you flirt and wink back.

When I see you
I know I am home.
The season without
seem tumbling acrobats.
Months spent staring
into the darkness
and wondering

Where are you?
